Thank you for all the q's on my Q and A post, I will do a video very soon;)
So last Saturday I went to an LCC open day to look at graphic design. I wasn't so keen so we left early and went to explore London and visit the Saatchi as I haven't been since the Rolling Stones Exhibition.
It's such a funky gallery, every piece is so interesting, I particularly liked the fact this exhibition was called "Champagne Life," it's so relevant to the consumeristic society we live in; but also kinda ironic they sell art too eh..
In art at the moment I'm looking at themes of coming of age and growing up, mainly focusing on using textiles as a medium. The exhibition wasn't too relevent to this but I did discover Henry Barande's art who does these huge paintings/ prints. They were very interesting and I'm excited to see if I can interpret his art in some way.
Have you ever been to the Saatchi??
